New functionality such as an on-line MRI safety checklist is available to help streamline your visit, and information relevant to your particular examination is front and centre, based around the type of study requested. Radiology SA doctors address Thoracic Society workshop

On the 24th March 2018 Radiology SA doctors Ghee Chew and Brett Lorraine were both invited to speak at a Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand conference workshop on the subject of endobronchial valve therapy for emphysema. Drawing on their experience, they spoke alongside international speakers in relation to the input imaging has on this innovative treatment option.


How low can a CT chest go?

Radiology SA is conscious of keeping radiation doses to a minimum, especially for young patients who may need multiple scans over their lifetime. Protocols used by Radiology SA in selected cases can achieve a diagnostic quality CT chest at a dose of 0.3mSv, or the equivalent of about 3-5 chest X-ray examinations.
