Sonographer

Committed to providing knowledgeable and professional imaging services that support the best possible outcomes for patients, we are currently looking for technically experienced Sonographers that value the importance of a customer service culture, and feel they can join the team to deliver services with kindness, empathy and respect.

Reporting to the Chief Sonographer, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing ultrasound examinations throughout our clinics.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of departmental paperwork.
  • Checking billing details.
  • Monitoring equipment performance and proactively reporting faults.
  • Supporting trainee sonographers.
  • Performing nursing duties for patients as required.

Apart from a commitment to high-quality work, exceptional communication and teamwork, to be successful in this role you will need:

  • ASAR Registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Capability to train, mentor and coach trainee sonographers.
  • Ability to perform some out of hour’s work, on a rostered or on-call basis, and work across RSA sites.
  • Eagerness and ability to attend in-house training sessions and staff meetings.
  • To maintain accreditation by attendance at seminars and lectures.
  • A valid Working with Children check.

Registered Nurse

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing assistance and performing nursing duties within the radiology department including liaison and support to all modalities.
  • Providing procedural care and support including pre and post activities.
  • Coordinating, planning and assisting with interventional procedures.
  • Liaising with hospital departments and allied health personnel.
  • Performing duties in accordance with Company protocols and ensuring high attention to detail and quality when completing required documentation.
  • Identifying stock requirements and assisting with ordering as required.

Apart from a commitment to high-quality work, exceptional communication and teamwork, to be successful in this role you will need:

  • AHPRA Registration.
  • Ability to perform some out of hour’s work and work across RSA hospital sites where required.
  • Eagerness and ability to attend in-house training sessions and staff meetings.
  • To maintain accreditation by attendance at seminars and lectures.
  • Experience within radiology is not essential, however a strong interest and eagerness to learn is required.
  • Relevant Working with Children checks.

RADIOLOGIST - DARWIN

Join us as we expand our services into Darwin, NT!

Radiology SA (RSA) is a long-standing, privately owned, Adelaide-based radiology practice, run by radiologists and nuclear medicine specialists for the medical community. With a long history in independent private radiology and public hospital contracts, the Practice currently has a significant footprint in the Adelaide metropolitan area, as well as supplying on-site radiology services to Lyell McEwin and Cairns hospitals. Commencing in October 2023, RSA will also be providing on-site reporting and interventional radiology services to the Royal Darwin Hospital in the Northern Territory.

We are seeking expressions of interest for full-time / part-time and locum positions in Darwin. While working in Darwin you will be working with at least 2 other RSA radiologists and have the full support of the RSA tele-reporting team with a broad range of experience and expertise. The environment is social and varied, and If desired, MDT participation and Registrar teaching will be welcome and encouraged.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A commitment to high-quality work, strong work ethic, and the ability to effectively communicate as part of the local and broader RSA team.
  • Current eligibility to work in Australia as a radiologist with RANZCR/AHPRA registration, and relevant criminal/working with children checks
