Radiology SA has a proud history of supplying diagnostic and interventional radiology skills to locations outside our own private Adelaide based clinics.
Our current external radiology work is with the Lyell McEwin Hospital, Cairns Hospital and Port Pirie Hospital. We also have a contract for highly specialised breast screen work-up clinics, performed at our Victoria Park (Dulwich) rooms.
Radiology SA brings to these clinics significant expertise and experience, and through this have optimised report turn-around time, increased breadth of examinations available, and number of clinical meetings. We are familiar with dealing with multiple RIS/PACS combinations, and support our "on the ground" radiologists through teleradiology.
In return, our diversity of work provides our radiologists broad exposure to cases which may be outside others' comfort zone, including tropical and travel medicine, indigenous medicine, interventional radiology and multitrauma. Frequent clinical meetings provide ongoing education for our referring clinicians, and welcome feedback on our performance.
