Bridgid grew up in country South Australia, and undertook post-graduate radiology training in Adelaide, including a rotation to Darwin. She subsequently undertook 2 years of nuclear medicine training in Sydney, before returning to Adelaide as a dual qualified radiologist and nuclear medicine/PET specialist.
