National nuclear medicine radiotracer shortage

There is currently a nationwide supply problem impacting availability of the tracer required for nuclear medicine scans. The issue originates in NSW and is unfortunately outside our control. All radiology practices are currently facing the same issue. Some radiotracer is still being sourced, and we are doing our best to prioritise scans according to clinical need. The new 3 Tesla magnet is double the strength of most currently available MRI machines, and brings with it the advantages of quicker scans, greater image detail, and improved patient comfort. RSA - Helping train the next generation of medical imagers

Radiology SA has been acknowledged by the University of SA for our commitment to the training of students in their Medical Imaging Program, providing 8250 hours of supervised placements over the previous year.
